DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Documents (All Applicants)

  • Completed Schengen Visa Application Form (signed).
  • International Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended stay, with a minimum 2 blank pages.
  • Copies of previous Schengen visas (if any).
  • Two recent passport photographs (white background, ICAO standard, not older than 6 months).
  • Proof of transportation (flight reservation; paid ticket not required at application stage).
  • Hotel booking OR proof of accommodation (if hosted, invitation letter + host ID/residence permit).
  • Travel health insurance
  • Proof of sufficient funds (last 3 months’ bank statements, payslips, or proof of income from property).
  • Visa application fee (Adults €90; Children 6–12 €45, payable in Naira).
  • Photocopies of all submitted documents.

Category Specific Documents

  • Employed Applicants
    Introduction/leave letter from employer confirming:
    Position, salary, and length of employment.
    Approval of leave for travel dates.
  • Business Owners
    Certificate of Incorporation (CAC documents).
    Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC).
    Business bank statements (3–6 months).
  • Students
    School admission/ID card.
    Letter of introduction from school/university.
    Proof of leave/holiday period (if applicable).
  • Family Visit
    Invitation letter from host in a Schengen country.
    Copy of host’s passport/residence permit.
    Proof of relationship (birth/marriage certificate).
    In Austria/Germany: “Elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung” (Electronic
    Declaration of Commitment).
