DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
1. Passport & Photos
- Two (2) passport photos – 2×2 inches (51×51 mm), colored, white background, full face view, taken within the last 6 months.
- Valid passport – must remain valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date.
2. Invitation Letter / Hotel Booking
Tourist Visa:
- Notarized invitation letter (City Council/Prefecture) with trip purpose and host details (name, address).
- OR confirmed hotel reservation + host’s ID (Passport, Congolese Residence permit, or National ID).
- Invitation must be valid for at least 90 days and city of residence must match what is on the visa form.
Special Situations:
- Minors: Birth certificate/court order, copy of parent/guardian passport, and
- notarized parental authorization for travel.
- Family Reunification: Birth, marriage, or adoption certificates.
- Funeral: Death certificate.
- Wedding: Wedding invitation card.
3. Proof of Legal Residence
Resident Permit
4. Business Visa
Notarized business letter on company letterhead (City Council/Prefecture) stating purpose of travel, contact person in Congo, valid travel for 3 months. Business visa will not be issued without this letter.
