DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS

Tourist Visa

  • Completed Schengen Visa Application Form – duly filled, dated, and signed.
  • Valid Passport/Travel Document – must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended stay, issued within the last 10 years, with at least 2 blank pages.
  • Photocopy of Passport – data page + any pages with markings.
  • Previous Passports (if applicable).
  • Travel Medical Insurance – minimum coverage €30,000, valid for the entire Schengen area, covering medical emergencies and repatriation
  • Flight Reservation – confirmed round-trip reservation.
  • Proof of Accommodation – hotel booking(s) or invitation letter from a host covering the entire stay.
  • National ID Card (valid).
  • Employment Proof (if employed): Employment letter (stamped & signed) including position, salary, years of service, leave approval, and return assurance.
  • Tax clearance & business incorporation documents (if self-employed).
  • Proof of Financial Means – last 3 months’ bank statements, salary slips, or proof of income.
  • Proof of Studies (for students): letter from institution.
  • Proof of Ties to Nigeria – marriage/birth certificates, property documents, etc.
  • Parental Consent Documents (if traveling with minors): consent letter, birth certificate and parents’ IDs.

Business Visa

  • Travel Itinerary – detailed travel plan with destination(s).
  • Completed Schengen Visa Application Form – duly filled, dated, and signed.
  • Valid Passport/Travel Document – same requirements as above.
  • Photocopy of Passport – data page + any pages with markings.
  • Previous Passports (if applicable).
  • Flight Reservation – confirmed round-trip booking.
  • Proof of Accommodation – hotel bookings for the duration of stay.
  • Invitation Letter – signed by host company/organization in Finland, stating reason for visit, duration of stay, who covers expenses, and contact details.
  • National ID Card (valid).
  • Employment Proof:
  • Employment letter (stamped & signed) including applicant’s details, position, salary, years of service, and leave approval.
  • Tax clearance certificate and business incorporation certificate (if applicable).
  • Proof of commercial activities (contracts, invoices, etc.) if relevant.
  • Proof of Financial Means – bank statements, salary slips, etc.
  • Residence Permit (for third-country citizens) valid 3 months beyond departure.

Conference / Seminar / Congress Visa – Document Requirements

  • Completed Schengen Visa Application Form – duly filled, dated, and signed.
  • Valid Passport/Travel Document – same requirements as above.
  • Photocopy of Passport – data page + any pages with markings.
  • Previous Passports (if applicable).
  • Travel Medical Insurance – same coverage as above.
  • Travel Itinerary – detailed plan including conference dates.
  • Flight Reservation – confirmed round-trip booking.
  • Proof of Accommodation – hotel bookings covering entire stay.
  • Invitation Letter – from the conference organizer, including purpose, dates, and financial sponsorship (if applicable).
  • Proof of Conference Participation – registration confirmation, receipt of payment (if required).
  • Supporting Business Documents – if conference is work-related, include proof of work relations or sponsorship.
  • National ID Card (valid).
  • Proof of Financial Means – last 3 months’ bank statements, salary slips, or property income.
  • Parental Consent Documents – for minors as applicable.
